| Larry Plank, President and
CEO of Credit Bureau Services Association (CBSA),
Stillwater, received the Fred Kirschner Lifetime
Achievement Award by the Medical-Dental-Hospital
Business Associates professional service organization
at their annual meeting held recently in Scottsdale,
AZ.
The award honored Plank for his outstanding
contributions to the healthcare industry as a leader,
teacher and consultant. The association includes
accounts receivable collection management agencies
that provide services to medical and dental practices
and hospitals. Plank is also recognized within the
association as a Certified Professional Business
Executive.
An OSU alumna with an M.S. in Adult Education,
Plank has developed and taught seminars on medical
industry recovery processes nationwide at numerous
hospital Plank also shared his expertise at a seminar
he developed for the national Healthcare Financial
Management Association, which was instrumental in
preparing industry leaders for implementation of the
Healthcare Information Privacy Protection Act (HIPPA)
passed by Congress to be fully implemented in
2003.
Under Planks leadership, CBSA has grown rapidly
and now includes two full service collection agencies:
CBSA Collections, Stillwater, and CBSA Collections,
Little Rock, AR as well as the Stillwater Credit
Bureau, Credit Bureau of Enid and the Ponca City
Credit Bureau. The company employs 25 professionals,
certified collection agents and support staff who use
sophisticated software technology systems and networks
to process collection and credit data for their
customers. |
